DIG: For lost village of Parham

WORTHING Archaeological Society will begin a dig at Parham House on Sunday in a bid to uncover the lost village of Parham.

During the two-day dig, archaeologists plan to excavate the area between Parham House and the old Parham Church, near Storrington, where it is believed there was a village until the 19th century.

Visitors are welcome to view the dig in process between 10.30am and 5pm, on May 25 and 26.

There will also be a small exhibition featuring finds discovered on the property in recent years.
