World darts champ in town

SHAYNE Burgess faces World Darts Champion Phil "The Power" Taylor on Saturday May 4 in a special head-to-head at the Bexhill Athletic Club.

The Bulldog is unbeaten in exhibition matches at the club, having previously defeated darts legends John Lowe and Eric Bristow.

But Taylor is considered by many in the darts world to be untouchable so it will be Burgess' toughest test at the club.

Doors open at 7pm and the evening warms up with a singer and a top London comedian before the main event.

Tickets are 10 and are available from the Athletic Club on 212099 although some will be held back for sale on the door at 15.
