Thunder face new challenge
BBL basketball returned to Worthing Leisure Centre on Saturday when Thunder faced Airwaves Plymouth Raiders in their inaugural BBL Championship campaign.
After years of being one of the top sides in the EBL Division 1, Thunder now face a significantly different challenge this season as they look to establish themselves in the top flight.
While Worthing Thunder's BBL debut ended in a 104-80 home loss against the Raiders, head coach Gary Smith believes there are plenty of positives for his team.
