Talented trio in academy
THREE girls from The Towers Convent School in Upper Beeding have been selected from 70 girls to become members of the Sussex Netball Academy.
The lucky girls are Victoria Gutteridge from Findon, who is in year 11, Chantal Stringer from Upper Beeding, who is in year 10 and Zoe Batchelor from Steyning, who is in year eight.
They will train each Thursday evening and if they are lucky they may be 'spotted' by talent scouts to go forward to the performance centres which are part of the England Talent System.
