SONNY RESCUES EP
EAST PRESTON FC fought back from 2-0 down to grab a draw from Saturday's match with second-bottom Rye but still remain in the relegation zone.
Sonny Banks was EP's hero with both their goals but it was a game they needed to win. A victory would have lifted them above Worthing United, on goals difference, with three games in hand.
As it is, United head EP by two points and EP's three games in hand '” Arundel (H), Littlehampton (H), Shoreham (a) '” which they also have on Redhill, who are five points clear of them, are going to be crucial.
