The final score of 39-0 is not a true reflection of a competitive encounter where Heath started slowly and took a while to take control of the match. But once they had clicked into gear, Heath kept the scoreline ticking over with Man of the Match, Heath prop Euan Greaves-Smith, scoring twice.

This season has seen Heath regroup as a rugby force in the county and the squad has emerged victorious in the league scoring an overwhelming 174 tries and conceding just 17.

Their string of victories in the league enabled them to accumulate the maximum possible points (99) with Midhurst their nearest challenger on 87. The squad is looking forward to competing in Sussex 1 next season and continuing its path as it develops homegrown talent from within the Club. Heath also has the semi-final of the Bob Rogers Cup to look forward to – a match likely to be played at the end of this month.
