Rooks put five on transfer list

He has put five players on the transfer list and hopes to have at least two new full backs in for Saturday's visit from Newport County.

At the time of going to press King could not name the five, but one is expected to be Paul Booth, who has not shown his best form since joining the Rooks in the summer from Cambridge City, while Jay Saunders could be another.

King said: 'The players listed have been told and there's already lots of interest from other clubs.

'Now we must push on. It's still early in the season and there's still loads of points to play for.

'We know from past experience in this division that all the clubs are capable of beating one other and I'm still confident we can reach the playoffs.'
