How to get best fitting saddle
The Society of Master Saddlers has issued a list of icons and abbreviations which enable purchasers of saddles to check whether their saddler is fully qualified.
The society has just issued a list of members for the entire country, covering retail and individual, incorporating a register of qualified saddle fitters.
The publication marks a concerted effort by the society to ensure that horse owners are fully aware of the importance of buying saddles from reputable sources and of ensuring that they are correctly fitted to suit their horse.
