Gus' new-look squad
NEW Saltdean manager Gus McBride has strengthened the Coombe Vale squad as the club bids for division two survival.
McBride, who had been involved with Brighton League club Brighton Rangers for the last two seasons, has signed four from that club '“ Jason Reid, a striker who has been at Ringmer, full back Jason Edwards, Rangers's top goalscorer David Woolgar and midfielder Billy Kilroy. Also joining is ex-Ringmer centre half Terry Haworth.
McBride said: 'Some of these lads should be playing at a higher level, they have the talent. Hopefully they can help us stay in this division.'
McBride will have his new players available for Saturday's visit from Southwick.
