AN INJURY-TIME strike from Jason Wimbleton gave Arundel a share of the points in a furiously-fought Boxing Day derby at Mill Road.

Wimbleton swept in at the back post following a cut-back from Mullets skipper Jon Tucker in the third minute of stoppage time thus completing Arundel s comeback from apparent defeat, with Littlehampton having been 2-0 up.

The kick-off was delayed by Crawley referee Ray Upton to allow the sun to thaw out the playing surface a little more. But when the teams emerged, neither could control the game and the opening exchanges were scrappy.
