United host young Gunners

THE young Gunners roll into Hastings tonight (Tuesday) for an eagerly-anticipated friendly fixture.

An Arsenal XI made up of talented reserves will visit The Pilot Field to take on Hastings United, kick-off 7.45pm.

The match is NOT all ticket so supporters can pay on the night.

The Premiership giants’ crop of youngsters kicked off their pre-season friendlies on Friday with a 3-0 win at Woking. The squad included familiar names such as Sanchez Watt, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Kyle Bartley and Benik Afobe.

The Arsenal squad for the match against Hastings will be chosen from the following players: Goalkeepers - Damian Martinez, Sean McDermott, James Shea; Defenders - Daniel Boateng, George Brislen-Hall, Sead Hajrovic, Ignasi Miquel, Nicolas Yennaris; Midfielders - Chuks Aneke, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Conor Henderson, Jernade Meade, Oguzhan Ozyakup, Sanchez Watt; Forwards - Benik Afobe, Luke Freeman, Rhys Murphy.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £7 concessions (with proof of age) and £3 under-18s, while under-12s will get in free with a full paying adult. Main stand tickets will cost an additional £1.

The four turnstiles at the main entrance in Elphinstone Road will open from 6pm and the two turnstiles to the north of the ground from 6.45pm. Supporters are advised to arrive early to avoid large queues forming.
