Former Southend United midfielder joins Horsham

Clark, 21, who signed forms prior to Wednesday night’s emphatic 5-0 win against Burgess Hill Town in the Velocity Trophy, began his career at Football League outfit Southend United.

The midfielder appeared at U18 and U23 level before dropping into non-league football upon his release from Roots Hall in the summer of 2018.

After brief stops at Harlow Town and Heybridge Swifts, he joined the Hornets' near-neighbours Three Bridges in November that same year.

Clark went on to play 20 times for the Isthmian South East club, scoring on his debut.

A move to East Thurrock United followed at the start of this season, where he has been a near ever-present.
