Clymping in pole position to go up

CLYMPING Cricket Club continue to lead the three-team race to secure promotion into Sussex Invitation League DIvision 2 after victory over fourth-placed Ram on Saturday.

Clymping are 13 points clear of second-placed and unbeaten Bognor Regis with six games left. Third-placed Horsham Trinity are 55 points adrift of Clymping but do have a game in hand.

All-rounder Gareth Challen said: "It seems that Bognor and Horsham keep picking up 30 points as well.

"At the moment, it's looking good to come at least second and going up is the main aim although we'd love to go up as champions."
