Big honour for Little Common
LITTLE Common Football Club has been awarded the prestigious status of an FA Charter Standard Club.
They are only the 12th club in Sussex and 120th in the UK to be presented with the accolade following their recent application to the Football Association.
Project co-ordinator Daniel Eldridge, who devoted a considerable amount of time to the bid, said: "I'm very pleased indeed."
The application was sent to the FA where it was studied rigorously before the Sussex FA issued Little Common with the certificate on Saturday.
