Arun ladies in fine fettle ... prize time at Nyetimber
Arun ladies entertained Camberley IBC and were winners overall by 100-87 shots.

In the latest match in the County League, the ladies travelled to Grattons in Crawley where they gained ten of the 11 points available putting them top of their division by a good margin.

In the latest game in the County League Arun ladies took all 11 points from a meeting with Preston IBC.

Nyetimber Bears met Bognor Goodwoods Silver and were delighted with wins on both mats, giving them six league points.

Donnington played Hunston at Hunston Village Hall. Hunston were one player short so they played three-three-two while Donnington players had two bowls each. Donnington won 38-29.

The club’s triples competition saw a hard-fought day of bowling. Going forward to April’s finals day are Alvar Etherington, Richard Burden and Simon Herbert who will face Bernard Adsett, Sheila Allan and Marilyn Knight.
In a league match against Crablands Avocets, Fittleworth played well to win 45-27 and take six points.

* In a friendly at home to Clapham and Patching, Fittleworth continued their good form with another win on all three mats.

Southbourne won at home against Arundel in the West Sussex KO plate competition. In a close match, Southbourne won on both mats and overall by seven shots to progress to an April semi-final.
Scores: Colin Bulbeck, Joan Frost, Dave Walter & Andy Smith (s) won 24-18; Audrey Bull, Pete Garrard, Alan Williams & Pete Jasinski (s) won 22-21.
