Angmering School's netball squad enjoys success
Angmering year 10 netball squad have continued their winning streak duringthe summer by securing first place in the Worthing and District LadiesSummer netball league -Division 4.
This is the first time the girls have played in the evening league and they staved off tough opposition from seven other ladies teams, scoring points with 263 goals for and 175 against.
This is an excellent achievement and bodes well for the coming season. Teacher Alison Groves said: "The girls have worked very hard this year and I am very proud of their dedication and commitment to improve. A special mention must go to the teams sponsors Tarmac whose generous sponsorship provided the girls with new netball dresses."
