Worthing carnival "best for ten years"

ORGANISERS and onlookers alike hailed Monday's Worthing Rotary Carnival as a huge success as thousands gathered to watch the seafront procession.

In a vibrant parade of colour, music and celebration, more than 40 entries made the two-mile journey from George V Avenue to Steyne Gardens.

The route was lined by cheering crowds, clearly impressed by what one onlooker described as "the best Worthing carnival for more than ten years."
