Maria writes from The Royal Oak: Our FILM CLUB continues with membership £7.50 per year for one film showning on the big screen in the Barn every month. This month’s film is Gravity, which will be shown on Wednesday 18th June at 8pm, followed by Blue Jasmine on Wednesday 23rd July and Man of Steel on Wednesday 20th August.

We will also be showing children’s films on the big screen once or twice a month. Our first film is Frozen, on Saturday, 21st June at 11.30am. All children are welcome - there is no charge for the screening.

Our next Irish Music Session will be on Friday, 27th June at 8.30pm.

We have a Psychic and Palm Reading Night on Friday, 11th July from 7-11pm, at £20 pp. Tickets are available to buy at the pub. All attendants will get a personal psychic and palm reading session, and there will also be a psychic reading of the 15C pub itself during the first hour.

I am presently on holiday down in the West Country, where the weather has been glorious. I hope you have had just the same in Whatlington!
