Tom Walters, 30, from Southsea, is a marketing officer at Chichester College and was diagnosed with depression after his brother died several years ago.

Both he and his friend Morgan Calton, 30, suffered as a result of losing a loved one. They have spent the past few weeks cycling from Hanoi, in Vietnam, to Singapore.

“We believe sport and extreme challenges can really aid and benefit good mental health,” said Tom before they left.
