There has been a crash on the A27 near Shoreham-by Sea this evening (Tuesday, January 10).

The collision has caused two miles of congestion, according to National Highways South-East.

They announced via Twitter at 6.03pm: “Traffic is being held on the #A27 westbound between A293 and A270 near #Shoreham-by-Sea following a collision. There are 2 miles of congestion on the approach to the incident.”

AA Traffic News said one lane is blocked after the crash, which involved two cars on the A27 Shoreham By-Pass Westbound between A270 Upper Shoreham Road (Holmbush turn off) and A283 Steyning Road (Steyning turn off). The AA said there is congestion to the Southwick Tunnel.
