Sports car driver sought after woman assaulted

The 26-year-old distressed woman said the offence happened between Worthing and Chichester. Police officers were interviewing her further this week to find out further details about the incident.

She has described the offender as having dark skin, short dark hair with flecks of gret and a large bulbous nose.

He was driving a dark blue, two seater sports car, similar to a BMW Z4 or a Porsche, in which the woman was picked up.

The assault happened between 6pm and 9pm last Thursday.

Det Sgt John Witt said: 'The woman is very distressed by the incident and we are making every effort to trace this man. Anyone who may recognise him from the description is asked to contact the police on 0845 60 70 999 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.'
