Search starts for the best young writers in Sussex

THE hunt is on for Sussex’s best young wordsmiths in a short story competition.

Bestselling author Joanna Rees has joined with children’s activities approval service KalliKids, to find talented young writers aged between seven to 11.

All the youngsters have to do is write a 500-word story around the theme of Shine.

If successful, they will see their stories published in hardcopy and e-book. Four winners will be picked from school Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.

The school in Sussex with the most entries will win a creative writing session with Joanna. Apply before June 8, at: www.KalliKids.com/story-competition-2015
