School's new look

PUPILS and staff at Denton Primary School celebrated the 165,000 makeover of their school this week.

The building, in Acacia Road, has undergone renovation with new windows, doors and exterior.

Funding for the project came from the Government's New Deal for School's Scheme.

On Wednesday the whole school gathered to celebrate the completion of work by contractors Solaglass Ltd. The school's chair of governors, Fred Cole, said: 'The children's learning environment has enormously improved staff, children and parents are delighted and grateful.'
