Schoolchildren play about with road issues

SCHOOLCHILDREN will receive a dramatic lesson in road issues from a touring theatre group.

The StopWatch Theatre company have produced an interactive drama workshop titled Road Race dealing with congestion and pollution on the roads.

The show has been performed nationally for more than 10 years and will visit English Martyrs School on Monday, October 2, and Downsbrook Middle School and Ferring Primary School on Wednesday, October 4.

Tex Pemberton, the West Sussex County Council Member for Highways and Transport, says: 'We are very proud of this initiative, and it is a great way of getting some key messages across to the next generation of road users'.
