SCHOOL SEARCH OVER

Supt Cliff Parrott, head of the East Sussex Division, said:

'Local officers from Sussex Police have been in regular contact with the families who were resident at the Jameah Islamiyah School at Mark Cross, and who were moved from the premises to enable the search operation to take place.

'We will be facilitating the return of the families to the school over the next few days.

'They are keen to return to their homes and normality as soon as possible.

'They are very grateful for the support they have received from the local community over the last few weeks and hope that this support will continue'
