Rotary to the rescue

A HEATHFIELD pre-school group sent out a plea for a new larder fridge so that the children can safely store their lunch boxes without risk of food hygiene problems in the summer.

The appeal by Sheepsetting Lane Pre School was taken up by Heathfield Rotary Club which purchased the fridge and presented it to the group's leaders Jacquie Fuller and Annie Lawrence.

One of Rotary's prime objectives is to provide assistance for all local groups, communities and charities either directly or indirectly with the provision of money or other services.
