Refreshed art exhibition at museum

A GROUP of local artists revealed their 'refreshed' art display at Bexhill Museum on 23rd November.

The artists, from DownsDigitalArt and the 73a Art Group, both based at 73a Centre in London Road, said they were "pleased" to exhibit the second phase of their show at the refurbished museum in Egerton Road.

The exhibition, which has been running for a number of weeks, now has the added bonus of the artist's new Christmas theme material.

After viewing the exhibits guests, who included former Town Mayors Megan Traice and Paul Lendon, enjoyed refreshments and chatted with the artists and Friends of 73a Centre.

Also enjoying the hospitality of curator Julian Porter and praising the display for the "sense of personal achievement for all the artists", was Alan Malpass and Reverend Steven Maunder, of the Friends, along with exhibition helpers Andrew Voyce and Mervyn Cobbold.

The exhibition runs until after Christmas. Entry to the museum is 3, or 2 concessions.
