READER'S PICTURE: Car crashes in ditch

The accident happened at a corner of Station Road, Berwick.

In March a double decker bus crashed on the same corner, injuring passengers.

Michael Sullivan, from Beaconsview, was driving past when he saw the Jaguar being recovered.

He said: 'I was returning home and saw it in the field.

'They were already in the process of taking it out.

'The Jaguar smashed a lot of bollards put there after the bus crash.

'It was in virtually the same spot as the bus was when it crashed.'

He added: 'This is turning into a black spot.

'I expect there will be several more crashes before they bring traffic calming measures to the area.

'Lots of us who live here are starting to lobby East Sussex County Council about getting speed restrictions.'

East Sussex County Council is reviewing speeds limits in the Wealden District.
