Radio station aims to go full time

UCKFIELD'S community radio station is hoping to get even more involved in local life.

Uckfield FM is planning to apply for a full time community radio licence and has recently secured a new studio at Bird-in-Eye Hill.

This move means the station now has the facilities to provide public address systems and/or music to cover local events such as fetes, parties and business bashes, for a small hire fee.

Uckfield FM will once again be on air from June 25 to July 22.
