POLICING in the Lewes and Seahaven areas comes under the spotlight on Wednesday, October 4, when Sussex Police Authority hosts its bi-annual public consultation meeting at Peacehaven Community School in Greenwich Way.

SPA member Margery Turner will chair the meeting, which will be attended by other members of Lewes District's Crime Reduction Partnership and feature a presentation by Seahaven Det Insp Martin Sapwell and Insp Viv Johnson from Lewes.

The Authority's presentation will focus particularly on the Local Policing Plan and invite suggestions as to what its priorities should be in 2007/08.

The meeting is open to all, starts at 6.30pm and concludes with an open forum when questions will be welcomed from the audience. Further details are available from 01273 482351
