Playden village voice

Monday was the most glorious Spring Day, warm sunshine, bees bumbling about in the pulmonaria, celandines shining optimistically in the sun, the annual sprouting starting of the sycamore forest of seedlings, - it’s all happening out there. But not much in Playden generally.

With the Spring Equinox on Wednesday, we shall really notice the longer days. Working in the garden can continue until nearly 7 pm already. There were bats hunting along the tree line in the dusk last week so they think that it is warm enough to wake up after the winter.
