PLANS: Locomotive on track for a makeover

THE owners of a Littlehampton pub want to carry out major renovation work on the listed building.

Punch Taverns’ plans for the Locomotive pub in Lyminster Road are among the latest list of applications submitted to Arun District Council in the Gazette area:

ARUNDEL: listed building consent application to resurface a parking space, rear of 37 High Street.

Listed building consent application for sign on front elevation, 39 High Street.

EAST PRESTON: front hipped dormer window, two-storey extension to rear and single-storey extension to side/rear, 17 The Roystons.

LITTLEHAMPTON: listed building consent application to reinstate slate roof, re-point chimneys and re-seat pots, replacement guttering and various other work on paintwork, rear rooflight, replacement of side garden gate, re-point garden flint walls, rewiring, re-plastering of ceilings and walls and replacement of floorboards in dining room, 7 River Road.

Listed building consent application for various internal works, remove rear access porch and reinstate facade, new entrance door in conservatory, with internal lobby, new steps/sleeper plants/freestanding gazebo entrance and pergola link to side entrance, Locomotive pub, 74 Lyminster Road.
