A planning application has been submitted to change the use of Blake House, 71 High Street, from a drinking establishment to retail.
Blake House is currently the home of The Dog and Duck but the micropub has announced a grand reopening at a new site on July 9 after shutting the doors at Blake House on July 4.
The plans state the new retail site will employ one full time member of staff and two part time and will be open from 9am to 6pm from Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays and bank holidays.
