Man found dead near Hastings Pier
A man was found dead near Hastings Pier on Boxing Day during the morning, police have confirmed.
Sussex Police said officers received reports of concerns for the man before finding his body.
A police spokesperson said: “Police received a report of concerns for a man near Hastings Pier, at about 8.20am on Monday (December 26). Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed. There are no suspicious circumstances, and a file has been prepared for the coroner.”
