Cheryl Dufton is raising spirits by singing a ‘happy song’ every day which she then posts on her Facebook page at about 6pm.

Cheryl – who has sung on cruise ships as well as in pubs and clubs around Eastbourne – sang all the way through the first lockdown and is now singing through the second lockdown to raise money for the Friends of Eastbourne Hospital.

Cheryl’s goal is to raise £1,000 which will go towards supporting the Eastbourne DGH and for the Friends of Eastbourne Hospital’s project – Make Radiology Digital.

The charity is very grateful for Cheryl’s support as nearly all fundraising activities for 2020 have had to be cancelled.

Debbie Wicks, from the charity, said, “Cheryl is doing a wonderful thing for us all, raising our spirits and raising money for a good cause.
