Mary Hitchins, 2 The Old Hop Gardens

I was lucky enough to be able to pay a visit to the Flying Start Pre School on Monday this week. I took my 3 year old granddaughter with me; she had a great time and so did I. We are so lucky to have such an excellent Pre School in our village, all the staff are so obviously dedicated to the children there and are so friendly and welcoming. If you have a pre school child who isn’t currently attending there I would recommend it unreservedly!

The mother and toddler group has re-started at the Memorial hall on Thursdays, 9.30 - 11.30am. All carers and children will receive a warm welcome, it only costs £2 per family so go along with your little ones and have some fun.

Sunday afternoon services at Peasmarsh Church have now been discontinued. Services at 10 am on the first and third Sundays of the month will continue, and notices of special services will appear in the monthly Parish Magazine. If you would like to have a copy of the parish magazine delivered please contact John Underwood at 230751. This costs just £3.50 a year. This Sunday’s service is a Family Candlemas service celebrating the Feast of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple.
