Peacehaven fire: four appliances sent to incident as residents told to keep windows shut

The fire service announced late last night on Twitter: “We were called at 22:52 to a fire on The Highway, Peacehaven. Four appliances are on scene using breathing apparatus and firefighting foam to extinguish the fire. Please close windows and doors.”

There have been no further updates but East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service has been approached for more information on the incident.
