Most of the road is in Rother

It was illuminating to read the wisdom of the Castle Ward Lib Dem candidate in his ill-judged criticism of the Labour Borough Council in last week's paper.

He doesn’t seem to know that 96.5 per cent of the ‘link road’ is in Rother – in fact, only about 200m of it is in Hastings!

He also does not seem to know that local plans only cover the provision of housing and not the type of housing.

Perhaps ignorance is bliss, but personally I would expect better from people who aspire to hold elected office!
