Witness appeal onmotorbike damage
I PARKED my Yamaha Majesty 400cc Scooter towards the bottom (southern) end of the motorcycle parking bay in Devonshire Road, during the above times.
On my return I did not notice any damage as I approached the bike from the rear and placed my shopping in the back box. I rode home.

Hide AdI parked the bike in the road outside my drive. On going to it, for another trip out, I noticed the exhaust cover was damaged.
On further examination, there was more damage consistent with it being pushed over, off its centre stand.
This is a very heavy bike and it would take some force to push it off the centre stand.
It would take a strong person to pick it up and place it back on the stand. It takes me all my time to do it and I have been handling it for over three years.

Hide AdAn estimation to repair the damage to the bike is in excess of £1,200 and an excess of £300 has to be paid.
This is far beyond my pocket and I have had to make an insurance claim.
As a result I will lose my no claims bonus which will cost many hundred of pounds over the next three years minimum.
The incident must have been witnessed by members of the public. Who I hope will come forward.

Hide AdA report, anonymously or not, to you or the police would be of great assistance.
Hit and run accidents cost excessive amounts of money to the person owning the damaged vehicle.
This through another person who lacks character and moral fibre as they do not want to inform their insurance company.
