Time for a parking ticket blitz

AM I the only one who gets really hacked off with the selfish drivers, mainly BMWs, Mercs, 4x4s and vans that regularly park on the pavement outside the shops in Rustington?

I think everybody will know where I mean, outside Staceys, QS, etc., and at the other end, The Original Factory Shop, Iceland, etc.

We are lucky enough to have free parking in Rustington, at the back of Somerfield, behind Iceland and along the front of the shops, but no, these people think nothing of mounting the pavement, where people walk, to park, so they can go to the shops or the banks.

When I questioned a parking attendant at the back of the Iceland car park, he told me it wasn't his job to give them a ticket, as it was down to the police.

So, where are the police on weekdays and Saturdays? I've never seen them.

Come on, council or police, do something about it, before someone gets knocked down.

Let's have a blitz.
