I wonder how many people agree that the Government is treating money as if it is a commodity, like potatoes.

In fact, money is a means of exchange, in preference to barter.

Goods and services in one part of the economy are paid for by goods and services from another part.

It reduces the economy if people are not permitted to work, produce goods, and trade, to their optimum potential.

Government has to ensure the economy is lubricated with an adequate money supply. Now I wonder what some bright economist may say to that?

Of course, the problem with the economy is that it can expand together with population, until the natural and social world falls apart. As of course it is. But if fewer people produce the required goods, others are released for social and welfare work.
