So many concerns expressed about Climping roundabout

Whilst I lack his faith in the quality of safe driving, I was not going to respond to his comments.

But I have since spoken to other people with concerns relating to Climping roundabout.

Concerns are (1) speed of traffic approaching the crossing; (2) the conflict between cyclists and pedestrians where the cycle track ends; (3) the difficulty for drivers leaving Brookpits Lane due to the height of the barriers; (4) the traffic lanes on the north-west side of the junction are too narrow.

Recently, I was trying to cross whilst pushing a pram.

No drivers stopped, and I had to wait for the gap in the traffic.

I wasn't in a rush and this was a Sunday, on a busy rush morning there is no gap in the traffic.

Also, whilst waiting, I was blocking the cycle lane.

What is required here is a toucan crossing for pedestrians and for cyclists heading west to cross over into the westbound traffic lane. There is one outside the prison, so why not here?

As I understand the traffic audit has not yet been completed, so, hopefully, that will recommend improvements.
