Paddington Bear attends Horsham’s Little Nibble
The much-loved children’s character, who is the mascot of Horsham-based charity Action Medical Research, dropped into the event to meet children and families who attended and to enjoy a well-deserved marmalade sandwich.
Action Medical Research also had a stall at the event to raise awareness of the charity’s work and the need for fundraising to continue its vital work with babies and children. The event was a success for the charity with many families stopping by to find out more about the charity’s funding of medical research for sick and disabled babies, children and young people.

Hide AdMedical research can save and change children’s lives. Yet surprisingly, medical research into conditions that devastate children’s lives is poorly funded. Action Medical Research has been funding medical breakthroughs since it began in 1952. The charity is currently supporting work around stillbirth, epilepsy, meningitis, cerebral palsy and brain cancer, as well as some rare and distressing conditions that severely affect children.
