Hands off our green bins

SO Rother is planning to charge us country bumpkins for removing our green waste.

Is it because not everybody uses the facility but everyone has to pay for it?

What about street lighting, public loos, pavements and many more facilities in the towns that we pay for with our council tax but are not available in the villages?

We don’t really want them, but that is hardly the point.

We did not actually want to pay for the renovation of Bexhill seafront and the De La Warr, but we did.

So hands off our green bins – yes, most of us do have gardens and it is almost the only perk we have in Council Tax terms.
