With over 120 students and 30 staff in attendance, our community feel was abundant and it was a night to remember!

Students arrived in style and looked stunning in their glamorous outfits and were excited about taking the opportunity to celebrate all their hard work over the past year.

In keeping with tradition , the students organised the evening; arranging arrival drinks, a three course dinner, a ‘Funky’ Photo Booth, DJ and dancing to keep them entertained until the early hours. There were speeches from our outgoing Lead Prefects, reflecting on their time in Sixth Form with humour, nostalgia and very fond memories.

With many students heading off to University or into the workplace in September, the Head of Sixth Form, Mr Backshall took the opportunity to wish the students well for the future; ‘Finishing school is such an exciting time for these young people. It has been wonderful to have the opportunity to celebrate the students’ time with us at The Weald Sixth Form and to look ahead to their futures. I have no doubt that they all have very bright, exciting and successful futures ahead of them’.
