LETTER: Do we need more offices?

I see in the County Times that yet another planning application has been made to convert an office block (Century House) into flats in Horsham.

Another block! I have lost count how many are being converted already.

Can anyone tell me why the new North Horsham development includes a new 500,000 sq ft business centre when so many office blocks in Horsham are mostly empty or being changed to apartments?

Do we really need more empty office blocks?

I also see that Horsham District Council has recommended 35 per cent affordable homes be built but Liberty have requested they only build 30 per cent.

Is it not about time that Liberty should be told 35 per cent - take it or leave it, that is what Horsham needs!
