Open garden helps charity

The Rye Sue Ryder Shop raised £827 with an open garden event last Saturday.

It took place at Rae Festing’s garden at 11 High Street.

There was a variety of stalls and people were entertained By Holly Fraser, Splitz dance academy, Step up and Dance and the Rye Ukulele Experiment.

Shop manager Denise Ellis said: “It is an incredible amount. We would like to say a big thank you to everybody who helped behind the scenes and entertained our visitors.

“The money raised will help towards giving incredible hospice and neurological care.”
