New venue for Rye Arts Festival

Rye Creative Centre, home to ARRCC and the New Road Artists, has been chosen as a new venue for the Rye Arts Festival.

It will be hosting a performance by the David Flood Trio on Saturday September 19 at 7.30pm.

David Flood is the Master of the Cathedral choristers and the Cathedral organist, responsible for every aspect of the Cathedral’s music programme.

Irna Mortlock, from ARRCC said: “This is the second time Dr Flood has generously found time to assist ARRCC in raising much needed funds. He performed an inspiring organ recital in Rye in October 2013 at St Mary’s Church, and promised to return.”

This time he will be joined by fellow musicians Jon Williams and Chris Price for a special evening of live music surrounding the wit and wisdom of some of England’s greatest musical humorists including Flanders and Swann, and Noel C Don’t miss out on all the latest breaking news where you live.
