New Horizons Appeal garden and local produce fair to move to South Lodge Hotel

A popular garden and local produce fair raising money for St Catherine’s Hospice is moving to a new location at South Lodge Hotel, Lower Beeding, this year.

The event is organised by the New Horizons Appeal and will be held on Thursday May 14 from 10.30am-3.30pm and will offer more than 50 stalls which will aim to create a ‘Mini Chelsea’.

In addition to hosting specialist plant growers and local produce, the hotel’s chefs will provide a a barbecue lunch at a cost of £12.50 per person. General admission is £4 per person.

David Connell, general manager for Exclusive Hotels and Venues at South Lodge Hotel, said: “St Catherine’s is close to our heart and have been one of our charity partners for the past two years so we are always looking for ways to help and support them in as many ways as we can and the fair is a perfect fit for us.”

All money raised goes to St Catherine’s’ Hospice New Horizons Appeal, which continues to fund a community nurse each year through local people attending such events.

The fair will also open at 8.30am for a Bubby Breakfast Preview. Tickets for this can be booked by calling Paula on 01293 447367. The barbecue must be booked prior to the event by callling 01403 891711.
