N Bersted plan for new homes goes on display

Persimmon Homes is staging the display '“ between 3pm and 7pm at the Jubilee Community Centre in Chalcraft Lane '“ to allow nearby residents the chance to comment on the firm's proposals. It will be the first chance for people to see the company's plans.

Persimmon Homes bought a third of the 40 hectare site which forms North Bersted's portion of the site six development area last spring.

The site, which is bounded by Chichester Road, benefits from outline planning permission to establish the principle of development.

Persimmon is preparing a detailed planning application for 216 homes.

Representatives from the development team, including the architect, will be present to explain the proposals and answer questions.
